erik mix 003 This was one of several mixes I did for my friend Eric. It's one of the bases. In the title I spell his name with a K. November 11th, 2005
holy song 2005 for year's end This was the last song of 2005 when this monster really started. This is now, and you can listen to now. December 24th, 2005
unsung song I did this on a Friday night and it originally had vocals and a totally catchy vocal melody which somehow disappeared from the final mix. It's pretty dry right now, but I still enjoy it. August 26th, 2005
soup I don't remember. Here is something unfinished, but at one point in time about 6-7 years ago I was really into Kreidler. This is my ill-produced tribute to Kreidler in that it has a keyboard sound and I used the real drum kit setting. October 10th, 2005
fragment of something minimal anyway I've always enjoyed Cologne house and this was an early attempt at that sound. This fragment goes nowhere but it's okay. October 10th, 2005
Mixdown haha what the fuck!? I don't remember doing this let alone recording terrible vocals over it. all in all, mixdown is a sweeeet title. September, 2005
loops mr piano This is ridiculous and I think it was recorded before I was fully aware of important factors like levels. The redeeming part of this song is one of the last sequences where I can imagine myself running away from something. I'm not sure what, but I imagine something like the law for a crime I didn't commit. October 12th, 2005
game on
Unlike the universe, t his song has no beginning or end. Something in this song must have been redeeming for me and I think it's the end which makes me feel like I'm attending a baseball or ice hockey game. BUT, definitely not street hockey.
September 10th, 2005
rap hit Contrary to the awesome title, there is no rapping over it. I recorded this some time ago in order to rap over it. After not listening to it for some time, I think it could definitely use some hype vox. The overall composition is weak sauce though. Redemption: the end takes you for an island adventure. September 5th, 2005
all voices Compositionally lacking from a denouement, I like everything else about this. It's entirely vocal samples, maybe all mine, I don't recall. I wanted some of the voices to sound like foghorns and ocarinas and to give the impression of being in a place where these two things might be present. Also, I have no idea from where that backwards cymbal and the random snare hit originated. November, 2005
billy Definitely not a prime example of skill, but the opening rap was mostly written by my friend Angie for my birthday. I also received a bust of Lord Byron. August, 2005
clicky track I never ventured into the world of clicky music before so I stabbed at it with this tiny beast to the absurdity brink. October 5th, 2005
coliseumdismantling Not very good, but something I did with some friends of mine in Coliseum's music. December 3rd, 2005
dance it off Nice song. Three or four parts. Some vocals. October 22nd, 2005
drowning This song was originally a soundtrack piece to accompany a film I did with pictures of Venice and roses. August 2005
love show 3 This song is a fragment mixing game shows and love. August 2005
old trap This is old, incomplete, no worries. It was done around the same time as "rap hit." It is terribly elementary. September 4th, 2005
loops with mahler This is great! I will complete this some day. Every time I hear it I just want to go buck wild over it. But, I don't. The second sample is taken from the second movement of Mahler's 5th Symphony. September 11th, 2005
give me toothache I would like to rerecord this with better vocals and lyrics. I tend to put off on doing that well because I often consider that the most important portion. eh. Sweet trumpet track though. November 4th, 2005
massive beast This was when I was going through a tribute to my memories of early 1980's Coil. I don't even really remember what they sounded like to be honest. November 27th, 2005
no idea what is happening This opens with a sample from an Eric McManus drum solo from a Lickgoldensky song that never made it anywehere. From there it is fake drums, vocal samples, and a sample of me dropping a microphone. December 3rd, 2005
fun times I think the title of this sums it up. This was created in a few minutes before work to be an opener for a Holy Bible set later that day. December 27th, 2005
organ ipiano song This doesn't go anywhere, like many of my pieces. BUT, I was listening to a lot of piano music at the time and walking in the woods. Also of ntoe, excellent song title. October 7th, 2005
partydownwithbadselfguitars! This was the first of my metal songs and had a number of influences, most notably, 108's "Arctic." November 27th, 2005
partytown I forgot about this. This is my rapping featuring Derek of Holy Bible/Phoenix Bodies on bass, Dave of Holy Bible on the drum settah, and someone on guitar. November 13th, 2005
peace loving There are samples from everything here and influences from everywhere. The background vocal sounds like a cello almost and I totally dig that. November 18th, 2005
piano completo Despite the title, I wouldn't consider this completo. BUT, there are a lot of parts I like still. October 13th, 2005
piano player haunting This is definitely the scariest song I've done. Please listen to it loudly. October 5th, 2005
product cut Vocals, trumpet, other things. I like this one. September 2005
rhythm My cover of the chorus of Rod Stewart's "Rhythm of My Heart" August 2005
roomtempfull JM on vocals. This was a fun project. November 25th, 2005
sliced again! This is an amalgamation of several pieces that weren't going well as well as some Holy Bible guitar sampling from a practice. The end result is alright. October 28th, 2005
trip to mars This consists of samples from Mike Magill on guitar, Eric Karl on guitar, myself on upright bass, trumpet, and voice, andJM on voice. There is probably more on there, but the idea is here. somewhere. December 30th, 2005
sarah rework Another mix of an Eric Karl song. He's a great sport for letting me rip his music apart. October 2005
9 and 10 holy bible practice songs no vocals.
stravinskyties Stravinsky + my voice = it's here it's queer! January 7th, 2006
11 holy bible practice songs no vocals.
nilbogtheme This is my tribute to the town of Nilbog from whence I was borneth. January 8th, 2006
troll2anthem another troll tribute from the heartless heart. January 8th, 2006
Swimmer A simple piece inspired after listening to "Slanguage" March 23rd, 2006
doodoocorruption a new one. sampling beck's "hell yes" and some metal i helped make. far from finished. January 11th, 2006
